Ballistic Performance Guarantee:
We Guarantee Five Years of Ballistics Performance - Your BulletSafe Bulletproof Vest or BulletSafe Ballistic Plate is guaranteed to perform as designed for five years from its date of manufacture. This guarantee applies to all BulletSafe products and is backed by our $1Million Insurance Policy. BulletSafe vests have a five year lifespan. After the five year period is over, our vest should be considered expired and no guarantee of performance is implied or offered.
Quality and Workmanship:
First Year of Ownership: Worry Free
With limited exceptions, if your BulletSafe product is damaged during the first twelve (12) months you own it including damage caused by wear and tear, attack, or other non-chemical or fire damage, BulletSafe will repair your vest. If we determine that the product is damaged beyond repair, we will replace it. If we determine that a replacement product is not available, we will provide you with a product of comparable value. Damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse, cosmetic damage (such as stained fabrics), chemical or fire damage, and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of the contents of a bulletproof vest, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.
Years Two through Five: You're Covered for Defects
From the second through the fifth year you own your BulletSafe product, BulletSafe will repair any items that are defective in materials or workmanship, including any structural defects (such as defective stitching or velcro defects). For years two through five, however, we will not cover damage resulting from wear and tear that is not the result of defects in materials or workmanship. We also will not cover damage caused by attack, fire, chemical spills, or other unusual damage. Other damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse, cosmetic damage (such as scratched or stained fabrics) and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or the contents of a bulletproof vest, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.
Your only responsibility is to ship your bulletproof vest to us for repair, postage paid. If your bulletproof vest does need to be sent to our facility, we will repair it quickly and ship it back at no additional cost to you. In those cases where our warranty does not apply, we will promptly provide you with an estimate of any repair and return shipping costs that may be involved.
You Can Expect Years of Quality Service
Our vests are very durable. Their 600 denier fabric can take a substantial amount of abuse. Still, accidents happen and your vest can become damaged outside of the terms of this warranty and many of these vests can be repaired. For these situations, we offer courteous, responsive service and the highest quality repairs and refurbishment at reasonable cost. If we are unable to repair the bulletproof vest, we will suggest alternative options.
