Bulletproof Baseball Cap - Ballistic Test Results

Here are the test results from Oregon Ballistics Laboratory. Our design goal for our cap was to offer NIJ Level IIA protection for the frontal portion of the NIJ helmet standard. From the results you can see that our hat passed this with the 9mm FMJ at 1084 fps and the .357 Mag JSP at 1278 fps velocity. The other test was slightly more severe and our hat passed that as well. These are the requirements to receive the NIJ Level IIA certification, and our bulletproof hat met these requirements. So, you can rest assured knowing that this bulletproof baseball cap will protect your head from 9mm and up to .45 caliber rounds.
