BulletSafe's Ultralight Ballistic Plate

Here are recent copies of the test results of BulletSafe's NIJ testing. We do our testing at an independent lab, Oregon Ballistic Laboratories. It shows that our plate passed the NIJ test for offering level III (level 3) protection.

The results show the Back Face Deformation (BFD) for our plate when it is shot with the 7.62x51mm NATO M80 projectile at 2780 feet per second. The BFD is a measure of how deep of a dent in a clay surface that is left behind the vest when it is shot. The maximum BFD is 44mm, so our results are well within the limit of a level III plate.

We conduct regular tests to ensure that our products stops bullets to the promised standard. We use an independent test lab to do these tests so that you can be sure you are getting the best possible product.
