We are often asked if it is possible to conceal the BulletSafe Bulletproof Vest. If you find yourself in a situation where you might want to hide your bulletproof vest, it is indeed possible to conceal the BulletSafe Vest. We won't say it is comfortable, but it is fairly easy and possible.
The BulletSafe Bulletproof Vest adds bulk to your body; there's no way around that. That's why it is best, when concealing your bulletproof vest, to make your first layer a snug-fitting undershirt. Over that, you'll layer your bulletproof vest, in the size that fits you best.
The BulletSafe Vest is available in six sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 4XL.
The BulletSafe Bulletproof Vest Size Chart Please use this helpful BulletSafe size chart. We use your height and weight as a good way to fit a bulletproof vest. This size might be different from your shirt size. Bulletproof vests do not stretch, and do not have to contain your shoulders, so you cannot order them the same way that you order a t-shirt.
Another note on bulletproof vest sizing: Your bulletproof vest needs to fit in two main areas, your chest and across your navel. The length of the vest is not important as you can use the shoulder straps to adjust it; only be concerned with the diameter of your midsection and chest. If you are a thin man with a large belly, try to order at the top of your size range so that you can fasten the vest around your mid-section. If you are a competitive cyclist with large legs and a slender waist, order at the bottom of your size range. Order the same size vest you would order an undershirt that you would want to fit snugly around your chest.
We've found that a button-down uniform shirt that is one size too large conceals vests best. You could also wear a jacket or windbreaker over your vest.
